Trusting God When It’s Hard

Times of spiritual warfare may be unpleasant or scary, but God assures you that you are meant to overcome. 2 Cor 2:14 says, “Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ ….” 1 John 4:4 reminds us, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world,” and Rev 12:11 assures us, “They overcame [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” There are many such verses. We must find them, believe them, and learn to war with them.

Remember for our weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds.

Remember you are on a journey with God… Let the word do the work!

Trusting God When It’s Hard

G’Morning MM Members, Everyday there is a continuous war going on inside of you. It’s a war between spirit and flesh. Whether your pursuit is spirit lead or a fleshly one, the results you get are based upon the actions you take. Both render results (a fruit-filled harvest). The question is what kind of results (fruit) are you after. 2 Cor 10v3 says For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. In other words we do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, “IF WE” take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Every moment of every day you must decide whether you are going to walk after carnal fleshly desires or after the desires the spirit. It starts in your mind with a thought (decision).

Flesh led = flesh-filled results (bad fruit)

Spirit led = spirit-filled results (good fruit)

What you see in your life is the result of the pursuit you’ve been after. Check your fruit! It’s the direct result of the root of your pursuit.

We’ve got so much to thank God for. So many wonderful blessings and so many open doors. Brand new mercies we see along with each new day. That’s reason enough to to be thankful. Tell God thank you! Somebody give Him praise!

Trusting God When It’s Hard

Letting nothing affect our love fellowship with the Lord exclusively includes our fellowship with one another. 2 Cor 13v14 is a blessing, grace and often given as the benediction at the end of our Sunday worship encounters. It’s often recited but not well thought about. It “declares and commands” May the Lord Jesus Christ’s good will, God’s love, and the Holy Spirit’s presence be with all of YOU! Think about that… If the Lord Jesus Christ’s good will, God’s love and Holy Spirit’s presence is with us every where we go then why is our fellowship one to another tainted? Are we acknowledging the will of the Lord? Are we operating in the spirit of God’s love? Are we yielding to the presence of Holy Spirit? 2 Cor 13v14 isn’t just a benediction spoken at the end of our worship encounters on Sundays. It’s a blessing of grace and declaration for our day… Everyday!

Remember you are on a journey with God… May the Lord Jesus Christ’s good will, God’s love, and the Holy Spirit’s presence be with all of you every where you go.
